What would count as progress
A systematic replication project covering a defined set of influential findings, publishing the rate with confidence bounds.
Why it matters
The Replication Program describes published checks in psychology and deworming research. Charitology has not established an equivalent sector-wide rate for charity impact findings. Donors deserve to know how much to trust a headline.
Where to start
Choose a fixed list of widely cited findings, pre-register the replication plan and publish everything, including findings that replicate. See the Replication Program.
