Build an accountable local profile
- Invite local coauthors to define priorities and correct the framing.
- Compare national figures with local statistical publications and community-led evidence.
- Map public, philanthropic and informal resources separately. Record dates, coverage and unknown amounts.
- Ask who decides, whose experience is missing and how people can safely challenge the work.
- Publish disagreements and source limits alongside the narrative. Obtain independent review.

Where work may act
For a water question, for example, emergency supply can provide relief; infrastructure repairs can restore service; maintenance and treatment can prevent interruptions; utility rules and accountability can change structures; and coordination or shared information may address a proposed source. This is an illustrative way to ask questions, not a classification of this country or a claim that one depth is superior.
Country and economy names follow the data source. Their inclusion does not imply a position on sovereignty or borders.
