What would count as progress
A framework that estimates the value of volunteer time by role and skill, checked against organizations’ own assessments.
Why it matters
Volunteer time can help in different ways and also takes coordination. The proposed study would compare the value of roles with the cost of supporting them; it does not assume those answers are already known.
